I hope many of you remember him from when he taught hip hop at First Position. He also was one of our best team members in NOLA for our outreach. The kids loved him! Make sure you vote for him…he was going to do a workshop at the studio this summer and something came up in his schedule…..hmmm, I wonder….
Here are a few links of him dancing:
Enjoy and vote!!! Lisa
P.S.- Just for the record…Cesa Zuniga is the artistic director of Studio 68 in London now, Josh Polk , Marcus Tucker and Dru Ramsey were just in a show on Broadway, Lauren Quattrone was recently in Roni Koresh’s weeklong Festival of Dance, Peter Sabasino was also on So You Think You Can Dance (wicked, awesome tapper), Rachel Fogel (our ballet teacher from last year) Cirque de Soleil in Vegas, Steve Smith videographer and filmaker in LA, Kelly Rambo was with Olive Dance Theatre and Rennie Harris’ Pure Movement…I’m sure I forgot someone, but I think you get the point when I say “I have the best staff on the planet!” I actually do! I have been so fortunate that all of these fabulous dancers have taught at First Position….maybe it’s in the water….hmmmm
The Hood Nation Street Dance Boot Camp will be moved to the end of August, however….The Hood Lockers will be holding a 2-day workshop! The workshop will be Wednesday and Thursday 8/5/2015 and 8/6/2015 from 11:00am-3:30pm at First Position Dance Arts! Dancers will learn the fundamentals and history in locking, popping, breaking, house, and hip hop! The workshop will be taught by Andrew Riot Ramsey, Marcus Tucker, Joshua Polk, and Ricky ‘Glytch’ Evans. The price will be $75.00 for both days or $50.00 for just one day. Please register in advance by emailing Lauren at firstname.lastname@example.org! Please do not hesitate if you have any questions! There is parking and it is easily accessible by public transportation!
